About Future Power Engineer

I’m Rhys, a trainee electrical engineer working in the UK power distribution industry, with a background in mechanical maintenance across large-scale power generation. After transitioning into electrical engineering, I’ve been diving deep into the world of 11kV networks, system planning, and grid operation—while studying towards becoming an Electrical Engineer. I’m building a career with the goal of becoming a senior leader in network and distribution management, and this platform is where I document that journey in real time.
